Atlanta optimized colocation network

AmericanNac’s primary Atlanta colocation data centers are located in two Tier-1 data facilities.

Americannac unlike any colocation network you have had before.

While most companies use simple BGP routing, AmericanNac utilizes the Internap® Flow Control Platform™ (FCP) for the ultimate low latency high availability connection to your server. Coupled with multiple tier one providers and loads of peers, you will be hard pressed to find a better, more stable, colocation network.

The Internap® Flow Control Platform™ (FCP) solution provides network performance management and monitoring for companies with redundant Internet connections. Without an FCP, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is often the default routing mechanism, blindly routing data over connections based on the shortest amount of hops - a choice that frequently results in poor performance. The FCP takes a better approach. It proactively reviews your network(s) for the best performing and most cost-effective path and routes according to your requirements. This will help improve performance for your applications and the bottom line.

You can't manage what you can't measure. Most organizations have no way to measure performance across the Internet, no understanding of its performance impact, and no ability to manage it proactively. The FCP has built in tools and reports to show you exactly what is happening on your network today.

Vastly Improved Performance

Now you can guarantee the IP network performance required to support key applications. No longer will the daily, and even hourly, variations in provider performance stall your business-critical applications. Based on its unique capability to measure the characteristics of end-to-end, real-time Internet traffic, the FCP solution improves network performance up to 50% on average by:

1. Automatically routing traffic around major network outages
2. Managing the network issues such as IP network brownouts and slowdowns that cause the 80% of application issues that impact revenue and productivity
3. Proactively identifying and choosing the best performing path for your traffic at all times
4. Providing routing based on priority and cost savings for key applications.

What does Route Optimizing mean?

Normal BGP routing simply looks at how many hops until the target, Flow Control Platform™ actually traces back to the originating websurfers 1,000s of times per minute identifying any problematic area then sorting the routes based on many different factors such as speed, packetloss, and amount of hops. Then it intelligently re-routes your connection to insure you stay on the fastest possible route.

Imagine if a router becomes clogged up outside of our network on one of our routes. Our Flow Control Platform™ identifies the problem and tells all traffic to avoid that route insuring you the fastest possible speed and quaility of service.

The result is improved network performance, intelligent load balancing across multiple provider links, and easier troubleshooting.
